Hi FriendRecently, I received an email from a fellow columnist asking me about my health and if I was all right as I have not written anything in a long while.
Truth is, I haven't been ok. I have been far from it. My emotional state is shaky, as my physical state of medical problems seem to rack up. I fought pneumonia, a minor heart attack and anxiety attack.
But to hear from him, gave me a sense of hope that what I write isn't in vain.
I know that the personal articles don't get as many views as the news articles, but I felt like I have to get some things out.
I am in pre-op condition for the broken bone in my back. On top of this, as I have stated in above, I have battled pneumonia, I had a slight heart attack with no clots, no blockage and they racked it up to an anxiety attack.
Plus my fiancé and I pushed our wedding back a year. His nephew decided to get married the weekend before and I'm sorry, but I feel that my special day needs to be my special day and not an after thought in that part of the family. My family thinks I have over-reacted, but I don't. In a way it gives us more time to prepare the fairy tale wedding I want and to have things perfect. Or at least to my level of perfection that I want the wedding to be.
Even as I write this, I am still confined to the bed, I am flat on my back taking breathing treatments for the pneumonia and staying on the anxiety meds in order for the prevention of another attack.
You want to know how boring daytime television is? Just ask me. I know that most television during the day is boring and even talk shows are becoming predictable. Even at this, I still find it hard to find things to write about.
The only thing I can find to follow up on the Duane "Dog" Chapman case is that 29 Congressmen have sent a letter to Secretary of State, Condoleezza Rice asking for the prevention of the extradition of Duane, Leland, and Timothy to Mexico. Try turning that into 400 words!
Well, now you know what I have been up to since my last column. I have been battling health and mental issues of my own. Be looking for my next column, which will be coming out soon, as something has happened in our family that occurs in most families and most people don't know about.
Until next time...
